The ChemTech Centre Project aims at upgrading the OPCW Laboratory and Equipment Store by constructing a new Centre for Chemistry and Technology to keep pace with current threats as well as scientific and technological developments.
As a part of the Project Management Group, which is responsible for the daily operational activities of the Project and for implementing decisions taken by the Project Board regarding the planning and implementation of the Project, the Project Management Team provides essential project support functions, such as accounting, procurement, and quality management, and is also responsible for supervising and working with contractors to ensure successful delivery of design and construction deliverables.

Fluency in English is essential and a good working knowledge of one of the other official languages (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish) is desirable.
Additional Information
This fixed-term appointment is for the duration of two years with a six-month probationary period, and is subject to the OPCW Staff Regulations and Interim Staff Rules. The total length of service for this appointment is limited to the finalisation of the project. The incumbent will have no expectation of renewal.
The OPCW is a non-career organisation with limited staff tenure. The total length of service for Professional staff shall not exceed 7 years.
The Director-General retains the discretion to not make any appointment to this vacancy, to make an appointment at a lower grade, or to make an appointment with a modified job description. Several vacancies may be filled.
